Bookings can be made by email or over the phone, which will be confirmed in writing via email. A deposit of £99 is taken at the time of the booking to secure the date and time. Clients will be requested to sign our photography contract prior to the shoot commencing.
I will always try to accommodate a change in schedules, and clients are able to reschedule the booking to an available date in the event of illness or at the photographers discretion. Deposits are non-refundable if you do not reschedule your session within 24hours prior to your allocated date and time.
Digital Images come with a licence to print for personal use and can be used across personal social media accounts provided a credit is given to the photographer, Pippa Thompson Photography. Digital images can not be altered or manipulated in any shape or form to remain true to the artists vision and copy right is retained by the photographer at all times.
Pippa Thompson Photography have the right to use or display all images for the purpose of marketing our services on our website, for social media use and for display in our studio.
Digital post-production, enhancement and manipulation are carried out at the discretion of Pippa Thompson Photography. No work will be carried out on any image until payment has been received in full. An additional fee may be charged for any additional post-production work above and beyond our usual process.
We assert our right to be identified as the author and creator of the work under the terms of section 77-78 CDPA 1988. Copyright remains with / Pippa Thompson Photography. If the images are to be used by the client for any commercial purposes a further set of usage rights shall be agreed upon and the appropriate fee paid to Pippa Thompson Photography. Any opportunity for additional commercial use of any images by a third-party will be discussed beforehand with the original commissioning client and any agreement of such shall be in writing including the detail of any financial arrangements and licence agreements.
Gift vouchers can be purchased online or in studio and have an expiry date of 12 months. Vouchers can not be exchanged for Cash or sold to third parties. We reserve the right to not accept damaged or counterfeit vouchers. No responsibility will be accepted for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers. Vouchers can not be used in conjunction with any other offers.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Due to their bespoke nature, once the finished portrait products have been checked and collected from our studio, no returns are accepted neither will any refunds be given by Pippa Thompson Photography.
Digital Files can not be returned or refunded for any reason once they have left the studio due to the fact that they can be copied prior to return and this can not be monitored. Once sold the sale is final and no returns will be accepted. Additional copies of images can be acquired after the fact for a fee.
We require that all products are collected and checked by the clients at our studio, 66 Woodlands Road, East Grinstead RH19 3EL unless by written agreement from Pippa Thompson Photography.
All images from model call sessions may be used by Pippa Thompson Photography for the further promotional of my work, both in print and online. Including social media and on the website. Images may be submitted in to industry awards and may be printed or used by the bodies they have been submitted to.
£50 print credit is redeemable against a minimum spend of £200.
Pippa Thompson Photography retains the right to vary these terms and conditions.
The information we collect:
SITE ACTIVITY DATA
Each time you visit our website (PippaThompson.com) the web server collects and logs certain information. We keep these access logs for a reasonable period of time. These logs include, but are not restricted to: your computer’s TCP/IP address, your username (if applicable), date, time and files accessed. These logs also contain information about referrer information if you clicked on an external link in order to access a PippaThompson.com webpage. We use these logs solely for performance, site administration and security reviews. We do not sell or share this information with any third party.
We collect only personal information about you, such as your name, address, email address, or telephone number that you voluntarily provide to us. For example, we may receive personal information about you when you send us an email through our website or sign up for our newsletter (where applicable). We may forward the personal information you provide to us to the person or department (internally) equipped to handle your request or respond to your inquiry. We do not sell any personal information we receive through our website to any third party, nor will we add such information to any bulk email list we may prepare. Pippa Thompson Photography will be the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We collect basic personal data about you including name, address, email, telephone number.
Why we collect your data.
We need your basic personal data in order to provide you with information about photography services in accordance with our contract. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.
What we do with your data.
All the personal data we hold is processed by our staff in the UK, however for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance this information is located on servers within the European Union and the USA.
No 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law or our contract with you, allows them to do so.
We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.
How long we keep your data.
We keep your images for the length of time agreed upon in our contract with you, after which time they will be deleted. Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information. This information is not shared with third parties and you can unsubscribe at any time via phone, email or our website.
What are your rights?
If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact Pippa on email@example.com who will investigate the matter.
If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are not processing your personal data in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
